Definitions E-Discovery = The collection, preparation, review and

production of electronic documents in litigation discovery. This includes e-mail, attachments, and other data stored on a computer, network, backup or other storage media. E-Discovery includes metadata.

Blogs = A type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject.

The Numbers

There are an estimated 112 million blogs online today.

It is estimated that there are over 2,500 legal blogs online today.

There is a growing number of over 30 legal blogs focused exclusively on E-Discovery.

What Can Be Found on E-Discovery Blogs?

Some blogs are more formal and therefore reliable for informational purposes. Other blogs can be informal and more comedic.
