Our company and India• All Trisoplast barriers in the Netherlands (>90% of
total) of last 7 years are build with bentonite from Gujerat as well as various of our international projects.
• While visiting India contacts to National Solid Waste Association of India and to Indian Institute of Technology Bombay started over 7 years ago.
• Participation as a speaker on first NSWAI Landfill Conference in Coimbatore in 2009.
• Extensive research study ITT Bombay on performance of Trisoplast has been performed.
Future of our company in India• Quality of Landfill technology in India is very poor and
very price driven, if any measures are taken at all.
• Lack of proper specifications for mineral barriers by regulators.
• Shortage of suitable clay materials for construction of landfill barriers. Inferior materials and alternatives are used.
• Converting landfill gas to energy can create high value and can give considerable financial support to financing the construction and exploitation of new artificial landfills and the remediation of old dumpsites.
Future of our company in India• Our know-how, Trisoplast and Multriwell technology
can contribute largely to the national mission on clean India by creating high quality solutions for the construction of artificial landfills and remediation of dumpsites while creating high Value resulting from intensive degassing and waste to Energy at the same time.
