About the Plant

Glazovsky Zavod Metallist JSC traces its history back to 1899, when tradesmen courses of blacksmith–locksmith and joiner–turner workmanship were founded for the Glazov Municipal School.

The Metallist today is one of the largest Russian manufacturers of ventilation and heating equipment as well as bench-work and clamping tools.

Metal Laser Cutting Site

• Cutting of metal sheets/plates is carried out with a laser system and a plasma cutter.

• Laser pattern-cutting of metal sheets/plates – up to 16 mm.

• Metal cutting with a plasma system – up to 64 mm.

High-precision milling and drilling operations, boring and machining of housing parts both in batch and single-item production are carried out at the site of computer numerical control machines.

Production of Large-Sized Equipment

The use of a turning-and-boring lathe and a horizontal boring machine in production allows us to fully localize manufacturing and assembly of large-sized fans and exhausters.

The Plant has mastered the production of large-sized mill fans and exhausters with an impeller diameter up to 2400 mm.

The tool house is equipped with advanced equipment:

• CNC wire-cut EDM (electrical discharge machining) centres

• Optic grinding and thread-grinding machines

• An ion-nitriding unit for materials

Capabilities of the Tool House

The Plant's tool house ensures tooling for main production facilities as well as serves a production workshop for manufacturing of unique equipment and exclusive orders.
