Inventory Management System for Auto Dealers
Value Proposition
Skypatrol’s LotMan, Inventory Management System, does more than locate and track vehicles on a lot.
The LotMan Increases Revenue By:•Putting eager customers in the driver's seat in seconds, before they lose interest•Eliminating dead batteries as the cause of lost sales•Demonstrating to the customer relevant F&I products and features
The LotMan Reduces Costs By:•Running full inventory counts on demand – in seconds, with no additional manpower•Protecting every vehicle on the lot from theft and un-authorized use•Tracking vehicles off the lot in real-time to make sure fuel is for test drives, not coffee runs•Managing vehicles in the service department, increasing efficiency without increasing support staff.
How The System Works•OBD 2 processer reads important information about battery life, engine state, VIN number & fuel level directly from the vehicle’s computer
•Powerful GPS & Cellular Antennas locate the vehicle, broadcasting position and OBD information to the platform.
•The Platform can ping the LotMan device in any vehicle at any time and get updated info.
•When the vehicle is on, the LotMan will track its path and report all information in real time (5 minute intervals) to the Platform.
•The Platform catalogs all information and sends alerts, reports and events whenever a condition is met or a rule broken.
Geofence boundaries protect vehicles while on the lot and time stamps (or sends an alert) whenever a vehicles leaves or returns to the lot.
Global GPS and nationwide cellular coverage protects the vehicles when they are off the lot.
•Notifications when battery levels are low (including daily reports)
•Fuel Level from the onboard computer
•Geofences around lots and lot segments
•Locate the exact position of any vehicle, anywhere, anytime.
•Watch a video breadcrumb history of test drives.
•Just plug LotMan into the OBD2 Port on any vehicle and the system automatically does the rest.
•Speeding alerts reduce liability and protect from disaster
