Graduation Check List

• Students must have a minimum of 80 credits to graduate

• 1 course = 4 credits

• Grade 12 students must be enrolled in at least 7 courses to

be eligible for PW Scholarships

• A 2nd language is not a requirement for graduation

• Grade 12’s must complete Numeracy Assessment

• Grade 12’s must complete Literacy Assessment

• Grade 12’s must complete CLC and Capstone

• Most Canadian universities require a minimum of 6

Course Choices

• Online courses – Do not take English 12

online

• For university admission online courses

must be completed by February 1.

• Repeated classes – cannot repeat at PW,

upgrade online or summer school, highest

mark is reflected on transcript

Course Choices

• Dropping courses is problematic

• If you don’t like your mark, ask for help

• Remember breadth and rigour count

• You need good marks to get into university

but, you need the skills to stay there
