• LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with over 55 million members and growing rapidly. LinkedIn connects you to your trusted contacts and helps you exchange knowledge, ideas, and opportunities with a broader network of professionals.

How does it Work?

• When you connect with an individual you then have a a symbol appear. This means you are directly connected.

• The person you connect with will also have their own connections which you will be able to see and a symbol will appear next to their names. These are called 2nd degree contacts and they are now in your network

• With 2nd Degree contacts you cannot see their connections from their homepage but they will come up in searches. These are 3rd degree + contacts.
