About GPTCHB Established in 1986, the Great Plains Tribal Chairmen’s Health Board (GPTCHB) is an organization representing the 18 tribal communities in the four-state region of South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa. Through public health practices and the formation of tribal partnerships, we work to improve the health of the American Indian peoples we serve by providing public health support and health care advocacy.

About RM-PHTC The Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center (RM-PHTC) was established in 2014 within the Center for Public Health Practice at the Colorado School of Public Health (CSPH). With funding from the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), the RM-PHTC serves the states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming (Region VIII), and the 32 tribal nations located within this territory. The RM-PHTC is committed to developing and supporting a high quality public health workforce that can improve population health by providing high quality distance learning and peer networking opportunities.
