The race begins on the Poverty Bay Flats and proceeds out and up into the Wharerata ranges via Nuhaka to Wairoa then returning on the inland route via Tiniroto - to complete the loop back onto the Poverty Bay Flats once again to Gisborne city.4

individuals from all claims for injuries and or damage however caused (whether fatal or otherwise) I may suffer out of the participation in this event. I also release and forever discharge the above groups from all actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, losses, damages, penalties and fines however arising

(including negligence). I agree to comply with the rules of the 2007 Gwaloop Cycle Challenge and I intend on competing entirely at my own risk. All competitors in Gwaloop 2007 must adhere to all New Zealand Traffic Rules and specific event instructions that will be provided in writing

at Registration. Attendance at the Event Briefing Campion College 6.30am Saturday 20th October is compulsory for all participants (No exceptions).
