Hairdressing

Apprenticeship pathwaysApprenticeships combine practical training in a job with study.

As an apprentice you’ll:

•work alongside experienced staff

•gain job-specific skills

•earn a wage and get holiday pay (minimum wage for apprentices

£4.15 per hour for 16-18 year olds)

•study towards a related qualification (usually one day a week)

Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing/Barbering)
