A guide to handbag careDo you know how to take care of your

designer handbag? Most people don't think about maintenance of a designer bag before they are visible dirty, so I have made a list of helpful tips for your new, old or hardly used bag, before use, during and when it's dirty!

Before use:

Use a leather conditioner to protect your purse 

For suede leather use a protection spray

Maintenance:

Wipe of stains from smooth leather with a baby wipe cloth

For suede leather, use a special brush to remove stains

Continue to apply leather conditioner and/or protection spray

Always:

Store your bag in a dust bagTo reduce stress on your bag, don't use the

same designer handbag everyday

Especially difficult stains/dirt:

For road salt stains try this simple recipe:1 part water and 1 part white vinegar - Take a cloth and dip into the solution, then blot over the bag lightly to remove the salt. This may have to be repeated several times to clean the entire surface. When you finish they should look almost like new. Be sure to wipe leather shoes with a damp cloth frequently, and keep them well polished with a paste.

Ctnd..For suede bags, try an art gum eraser first

and if that doesn’t do the trick, use undiluted white vinegar on a soft cloth, and be sure to blot and never rub when cleaning suede. Once the spot is gone, take a shoe brush and rework the nap of the suede. Let dry.

Obs! When cleaning leather always test it a place where it won't be seen (under or inside).
