Wow...we made it through September! We had a very busy month with lots of activities celebrating Active Aging! I hope you were able
to attend one or all of the Lunch ’N Learns we offered throughout the month, or the Smoothie and Salad in a Jar Workshops, and that
you visited with many of the two dozen vendors who showcased their services at our Active Aging Health Fair. We are always looking
to provide valuable information and fun events for members. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or presentations you’d be
interested in seeing.
October is also a very busy month, and we will kick it off with the “National Night Out” Luncheon provided by the amazing Police
Officers from the Bulverde PD. Throughout the month we are offering a couple fun fall crafts, lunch ‘n learns, Medicare Enrollment
education and last but not least, the Halloween Bunco Party. You are encouraged to attend our Annual Meeting on October 28th where
we will provide a brief review of the past year, honor those who are not with us anymore, and vote in new board members.
I wish you all a wonderful fall, filled with cooler weather and beautiful colors!
Sincerely,
Jessica Rosario
