I grew up in North Miami Beach, Florida, the youngest of six kids. My mother, who was sophisticated, glamorous and very beautiful, fascinated me. She turned heads whenever she entered a room, captivating everyone’s attention. What I admired most about her, however, was her talent. Her amazing paintings filled the walls of our family home. Many of them are hanging on the walls of my home today.

Tragically, my mother passed away when I was only 18. She was 46, the age I am now.

Art has always played a major role in my life. Standing in the presence of great art brings me to tears. The desire to pick up a brush has overwhelmed me. The thought of painting has consumed me. But it wasn’t until I crossed the threshold of my 46th birthday that I finally succumbed to my inevitable calling.

Now…I paint.

CuTTING BOARDSHara Allison’s original acrylic paintings and graphic designs have been

made into cutting boards/hot plates/serving platters, made of scratch-resistant, break-resistant, tempered glass with non-slip rubber feet, resisting stains and odors.

Art is reproduced using a dye sublimation process. The image is underneath the glass so it is protected and is food safe and heat resistant. Hand wash top of glass only.

Do not immerse in water or put in the dishwasher..
