Harvard Club of Russia made substantial impact with its Global Education Initiative
6
Global Education Initiative
A group of HCR members created and promoted initiative to provide government support for Russian students to study in the best universities abroad
President Medvedev announced the program at the Economic Forum in Saint-Petersburg
Despite strong resistance from ministry of education the program is moving ahead
Recently Agency of Strategic Initiatives picked up the program to further develop it
The initiative received broad coverage in major newspapers, radio and TV, creating huge exposure for Harvard Club of Russia
