Connection Technology System (CTS) HES-3106-PLUS is a CPE switch with �ve gigabit copper LAN ports and one gigabit �ber WAN port, and is housed with an eye-catching pearl-white case. It supports conversionbetween 10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-X or 100/1000Base-X network. Also, it is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, and 802.3z standards. The operation status can be monitored through the compre-hensive LED display.

HES-3106-PLUS’s combo (dual personality) modedesign for WAN port provides the operators or service providers with the �exibility for di�erent deployments and applications. When the combo mode is disabled, the copper WAN port can be con�gured to LAN 5 (hidden LAN port). Also, HES-3106-PLUS can be easily managed via Web GUI, telnet CLI and SNMP, and in order to ful�ll the require-ment of mass deployment, the auto provisioningmechanism is implemented to allow the operators orservice providers to manage the device automatically and dynamically. Consequently, it can signi�cantly help to save the OPEX (operational cost) for the operators orservice providers. With CTS unique power down trapfeature, HES-3106-PLUS is able to send out a SNMP trapmessage when unexpected power outage occurs.
