Degree Distribution Ceremony-2019

(Annual Convocation)

Time : 10.00 am

Venue : HET’s CCSIT Campus.

Introduction: HET’s CCSIT’s 3rd Convocation program was organized 0n 28th Feb 2019. A total of 35

graduate students attended this program.

Objective: Convocation or the degree distribution ceremony is one of the highlights of every academic year.

This is the special occasion where the achievement of students are celebrated.

Proceedings: The program started with the academic procession from conference room to dais. It included

the chief guest, Dr. A. D. Sawant, former VC of Rajastan University and former Pro-VC of University of

Mumbai, the guest of honor, Dr. Snehal Donde, Principal, Oswal College, Bhiwandi and chief advisory of

HET, the CCSIT director, Hon. Mrs. Sonali Dharia and Principal of CCSIT, Dr. Purushottam Kale. Before

starting the program, homage was paid to the martyrs of Pulwama terrorist attack.

1. The program was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Dr. A.D.Sawant, the guest of

honor Dr. Snehal Donde, the director of CCSIT, Hon. Mrs. Sonali Dharia and Principal of CCSIT, Dr.

Purushottam Kale. Miss Sakshi Pawar, FYBMS sang ganesh vandana.

2. This was followed by University song and presentation of webcast of University convocation

ceremony.

3. Dr. P. G. Kale, Principal of CSIT, delivered the welcome address.

4. Hon. Mrs. Sonali Dharia and Dr. P. G. Kale felicitated the chief guest and guest of honor respectively

offering them memento, shawl, coconut and tulsi sapling as token of love.

5. The program was hosted by Mrs. Pallavi Kale, She introduced and requested Hon. Mrs. Sonali

Dharia, Director of CCSIT and the Guest of Hon. Dr. Snehal Donde and Hon. Dr. A. D. Sawant to

give blessing note to the graduate students.

6. The chief guest of the program, Hon. Dr. A. D. Sawant, addressed the students. In his speech, he

emphasized the importance of luck and opportunity. He advised that time does not wait for anyone.

One needs to grab the opportunity as and when it presents.

7. The degree certificates were presented to the students at the hands of Hon. Dr. A. D. Sawant, Hon. Dr.

Snehal Donde, Hon.Mrs. Sonali Madam and Dr. P. G. Kale.

8. Photo Session with all the gowned students was done.

9. After this, some of the students, who had received degree certificates in the program, shared their

memories and experiences of the institution and also shared words of encouragement and caution with

the current students.

10. On behalf of the management and Principal, Mrs. Jyothi .V. Poojary proposed the vote of thanks.

11. The program was concluded with national anthem and was followed by refreshments.
