Technology (ERDT), Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for

Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-

PCIEERD), Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Neuronemech.

Technically Sponsored By

IEEE Philippines Section and IEEE CIS Philippine Chapter

Joint with ISCIII 2014

The IEEE 7th International Conference on Humanoid, Nanotechnology, Information

Technology, Communication and Control, Environment, and Management (HNICEM

2014) collocated with 6th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and

Intelligent Informatics (ISCIII 2014) to be held at the Hotel Centro, Puerto Princesa,

Palawan from November 12-16, 2014.

The IEEE 7th HNICEM and 6th ISCIII are being organized by the IEEE Philippines

Section together with the De La Salle University, Neuronemech, and IEEE

Computational Intelligence Society, Philippines Chapter. It is one of the premier

international technical conferences of the Asia Pacific Region. The HNICEM and

ISCIIIA has been held since 2003 and provides an important forum for researchers and

engineers from industry, and professors and graduate students from the academia to

network and to discuss new ideas and development in emerging areas of electrical and

electronic engineering, computers science and related topics.

The conference will feature plenary and invited talks by eminent scientists and

engineers, tutorials, paper presentations, poster sessions and industrial exhibits. Our

theme for this year, “Disaster Readiness through Humanitarian Technology”,

addresses the generation and application of innovative engineering and technology to

improve the standard of living and way of life of underserved and unserved

communities. This theme encompasses more than electrical engineering and computer

science, and reflects the relevance of HNICEM/ISCIII to a broad range of engineering

disciplines.

Scope and Topics

The program committee solicits high quality papers containing original contributions

in all areas of theory and applications of robotics, mechatronics, automation,

nanotechnology, information technology, communication, controls, environment and

management, including but not limited to: • circuits and systems • computing

architectures and systems • signal processing • power and energy • biomedical

engineering • human-friendly welfare, industrial, biomedical, agricultural,
