April 14, 1921 – June 26, 2008Beloved wife of 62 years to Ren. Bet ty is surv ived by her s is ter, Mary Louise Riley (John), and predeceased by her sister Jean Isabelle. Loving mother to Children: Ren (Marion), Jamie (Barbara), Ian, Elizabeth Jennings (Rob) and Barbara. Predeceased by daughter Pamela.Loving grandmother to Christie Hen-derson-Biggar (Kirk), Sarah Henderson, Sarah Rimmington, Graeme Henderson (Trish), Anne Henderson, Marcus Madot Henderson, Scott Henderson (Bernice), Julie Henderson, Graeme Jennings, Tory Jennings.Loving great-grandmother to Charlie, Fin-lay and Duncan Biggar.After a full, satisfying and eventful life Betty passed peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.Betty was born in Port Colborne and her first career was there in the family shoe business; later, a second career as a re-medial teacher with the Carleton and Peel School Boards.Betty was a proud graduate of Bishop Strachan School and Trinity College, Uni-versity of Toronto, with Bachelor degrees in Arts and Education.The family wishes to express their appre-ciation to Dr. Snyder for his direction and care and to the professional staff at 4 Centre OTMH who made Mother’s final days as comfortable as possible.Flowers are gratefully declined but a dona t ion to the S t . BOURRET, Michael George- Oct. 25, 1954 - June 25, 2008. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael, father of triplets Daniel, Connor, and Tarynne, and husband of Dale (Gordon). He is survived by his f a the r, James Thomas Bour re t o f Brockville and his mother Elsie Elizabeth Wand of Montreal, and several siblings and his stepfather Richard F. Brown of Toronto. Originally from Montreal, he moved at 17 to attend fi lm school at Conestoga College in Kitchener before settling in Toronto to work in the commer-cial film industry. Though committed to the film business, he quit to share in the challenge of raising kids with special needs. He enjoyed riding his Harley with Dale sharing the ride and playing pool with his friends at the Boston Manor. A memorial service will be held at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Recep-tion Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas), Oakvil le, 905 257 8822 on Thursday July 3, 2008 at 11 am. A reception to follow. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Ontario Federation of Cerebral Palsy.
