Horiyoshi The Third clothing is based on the ar twork of Japan’s ta t too master, Horiyoshi III of Yokohama. Rooted in traditional Japanese storytell-ing, images created by the master are true works of art embodying spirituality, strength and beauty.

Our aim is to capture the mystical and sometimes magical feeling of traveling far lengths to receive a Horiyoshi III tattoo. Like a carefully executed hand tattoo by the master drawn fully freehand, each garment is crafted with meticulous detail to ensure the finest quality of fit, fabric, and design.

Artwork and concepts by Horiyoshi III in his Yokohama Studio. Printed in Gifu and Kyoto using traditional screen carvers. Tsuriurake loop wheel manufactured in Wakayama.

Cut and sewn in a village outside of Osaka. Yarn imported from Italy. Knitwear manufactured in niigata. Woven and jersey materials manufactured in artisanal factories throughout Japan.
