Mobile updates speeding up decisions and actions, bypassing procedures

Volume and velocity of data updates enabling faster and new forms of analysis

Internet connectivity and storage on a massive scale enabling all of the above…

Games give permission to experiment, with instant feedback and learning by doing

Disrupting ‘business as usual’

Trust forms within social networks, increasing distrust of jargon and official statements

Being mobile means not waiting. Eliminates the ability (excuse) to delay responses

Decisions are being made (and adjusted) based on feedback, not opinions

Demographics break down – there really is no such thing as a family with 2.4 children…

Games tap into human emotions that formal processes too often try to ignore
