how to be a harvester

… He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples,

"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."

…But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.

Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

1. To be useful, be a vessel CLEANSED and READY

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

2. Anything we do, done for the Lord, becomes a labor for Him

…walk carefully, not as unwise but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. For this reason be not foolish, but understanding what is the will of the Lord.

3. Make the most of every opportunity…in order to accomplish the will of the Lord

Brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.

So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.

4. Don’t get weary doing good.

Never give up.
