How to Download the Toshiba Media Guide App
First download and install the
Toshiba Apps DB application.
Click the install button to add
application to your Android
tablet.

the “Play Store” icon and
search for Toshiba.
Search ‘Toshiba’ on the “Play
Store”. Download and install
the Toshiba Media Guide App.

5) A Toshiba Media Guide icon will
be created automatically on your
tablet.

How to Connect your Media Guide Application
Initiate the Media Guide
application by pressing it with
your finger.
1)
Select with your finger the TV
you want to pair the MEDIA
GUIDE application to.

NOTICEBefore you begin please ensure you have
connected the tablet and your television to
the same router.

Once you select your TV you will
be prompted to fill out the
required fields.

Press the ‘Tuner Device’ Option
And this screen will pop up.
WITH cable or satellite box connected (follow
the instructions in the “How to Setup your
Cable Box in the IR Blaster Menu on your
L6200/7200 TV” documentation), select the
Cable /Satellite Box model listed.
Eg. Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3 is the model of my
cable box that was set up with an IR Blaster.
WITHOUT cable or satellite box connected.
Select the “TV” option.
Then press OK.

For the Country field
select it with your finger
and choose Canada.

Select the Zip Code field with your
finger and it will prompt you to input
your postal code.
After you input your postal code
press enter.
NOTE* You MUST put a space between
the first 3 and last 3 characters.

Select the ‘service provider’ field with
your finger. It will prompt you to select
the appropriate location you want to
access your cable data from.
Note* There will be two types of Cable
data you can access. One will be Digital
( if you have a cable/satellite box) AND the
other will say “Standard Cable” (if you
plug your coaxial cable directly into your
TV)
Example: a cable box with Rogers and are
located in Richmond Hill, so “Rogers Cable
Systems Richmond Hill Digital” was
selected

Once you have filled
out all the required
fields press “OK”
located at the bottom
left with your finger.

Once you press okay, the
Media Guide application
will automatically load.
Now you MUST pair your
tablet to your television
set.

1) Wait for your media guide
application to load. Then press
the Settings icon at the top
right corner with your finger.

you would like to connect to.

4) Once you select the TV your
tablet will ask you to put in a 4
digit pin code. Press the first box
with your finger to prompt the
keyboard.
The 4 Digit pin code will display
on your television set
automatically.

Congratulations! Your
Media Guide application
is now ready for use.
