How to Upload and Submit a Document to Your Tk20 Portfolio
Use this when your instructor has asked you to put something in your
Tk20 Portfolio
(as opposed to submitting an assignment in a course)
Click on “Portfolios” tab. Then click on the name of the relevant portfolio.
NOTE: If you are an initial licensure candidate, during your term of student teaching, you will see an edTPA portfolio (in addition to your program portfolio if used).
Click on name to open portfolio.
Follow the Instructions on the Screen to get started.

Internet Explorer is not recommended for using Tk20.
Click on each “Tab” of the Portfolio to navigate within the portfolio.
Each Tab will tell you what to do (what documents to upload, etc.).
Click here to attach the documents or files as instructed.
After selecting “Click here to attach,” a new window will open. Under “My Items,” you can
choose an item you’ve previously uploaded into Tk20, or you can select “Create a new artifact.”

To “create a new artifact,” click the radio button. Then scroll to the bottom of the page
and hit “Continue.”
Click this button to upload a new document.
Hit “Continue.”
Scroll to the bottom of the page and
Select “File” from the dropdown menu (unless your instructor has specified a
different artifact type).
Add a “Title” for your document. Choose the course associated with your document.
Then choose “Select Files.”

When you “Select Files,” a window will pop up allowing you to choose your document to upload. Select your
document, and then choose Add (if necessary). The name of the document you uploaded will then appear in the gray
shaded area.

Click “Save.” A new window will appear confirming that your file has been added to
your portfolio.

1. ALWAYS use the “Save Draft” button as you add documents to your portfolio. 2. NEVER ever hit “Submit.”
(This will lock your portfolio).

view your materials as you “Save Draft.”3. You will “Transfer to Pearson” when you are ready for your
portfolio to be sent off for evaluation.

If you accidentally hit “Submit” and lock your portfolio, click on the box in front of the name of
the portfolio. Then click the “Recall” button.
