RebeccaPerkins,MD,MScAssociateProfessorofObstetricsandGynecologyatBostonUniversitySchoolofMedicine/BostonMedicalCenter,hasbeenactivelyinvolvedincervicalcancerpreventionresearchsince2003.HerworkfocusesonattitudestowardHPVvaccinationinparentsoflow-income,minorityadolescentsintheUnitedStatesandtheproviderswhoservethem.SheisalsostudyinginterventionstoimproveHPVvaccinationratesinlow-income,minorityadolescents.SheiscurrentlyworkingwiththeAmericanAcademyofPediatrics,AmericanCollegeofObstetriciansandGynecologists,AmericanCancerSociety,ASCCPandCDConnationalcervicalcancerscreeningandpreventionandHPVvaccinationwork.

SarahFeldmanM.D.M.P.H.isanAssociateProfessorofObstetrics,GynecologyandReproductiveBiologyatHarvardMedicalSchoolwheresheisco-DirectorofAmbulatoryGynecologicOncologyandDirectoroftheCenterforPre-InvasiveDiseaseoftheLowerGenitalTractatBrighamandWomen’sHospitalandDanaFarberCancerInstitute.Dr.Feldmanoverseesmultipleresearchprojectsoncervicalcancerprevention,includingstudiesevaluatingeffectiveapproachestocervicalcancerscreeningandmanagement,inparticularassessingtheimpactofrecentguidelinesandchangesincareandtheirimpactoncervicalcancerprevalence.

EileenLind,MSN,RN,CPNPpracticesinthepediatriconcologyclinicatDana-FarberCancerInstitute(DFCI)andhasworkedwithDFCI’sCommunityBenefitsOfficetoinitiateprogramswhichengagemultiplestakeholderstoincreaseHPVvaccinationratesandreduceHPV-relatedcancers.ShehasworkedtopreventcervicalcanceracrosstheCommonwealththroughthenon-profitorganization,TeamMaureen,whichshefoundedinmemoryofhersister,MaureenRusso,whopassedawayattheageof37fromcervicalcancer.ShealsoservesasCo-ChairoftheMassachusettsHPV/CervicalCancerWorkGroup.

RebeccaVanucci,MA,istheImmunizationOutreachCoordinatorfortheMassachusettsDepartmentofPublicHealthImmunizationProgram.Inthatrole,Rebeccaplansthestrategiceducationaloutreachtoproviders,patients,andthelargercommunityaboutimmunizations.Sheactivelyengagesoutsidepartnersandstakeholdersaboutimmunizationrelatedtopics.RebeccacoordinatesthemajorstatewidepediatricandadultimmunizationconferencesaswellastheregionalImmunizationUpdates.SheisamemberofmanycoalitionsandworkinggroupsaboutincreasingimmunizationratesinMassachusetts.ShewasoneofthefoundingmembersoftheMassachusettsOralHPVPreventionTaskforce.

SaraI.Pai,MD,PhD:Dr.PaiisAssociateProfessorofSurgeryatHarvardMedicalSchoolandDirectorofTranslationalResearchinHeadandNeckCancerattheMassachusettsGeneralHospital.Herresearchinterestsfocusonbetterunderstandinghowheadandneckcancersevadetheimmunesystemandstrategiesthatcanbeappliedtoreactivatethehostimmuneresponseagainstthetumorsthroughvaccinesandimmunemodulatorydrugs.Sheleadsseveralinvestigator-initiatedclinicalimmunotherapytrialsinheadandneckcancer.

JillSeamanisasingleparentwhosehusbandsuccumbedtooralcancer.Sincehispassingin2011,shehasbecomeactiveinorganizingtheOralCancerFoundation’sWalkforAwareness-Bostonandin2016,JillwasaskedtojointheMassachusettsOralHPVPreventionTaskforce.
