Today, our class went for a tour at a Hydroponics farm. Uncle Tony showed us around and taught us how to grow plants.

He showed us different types of plants such as the Kang Kong, lavender, Basil, cucumber and the cherry tomato plant.

We even got to smell and taste some leaves. It was interesting!

The huge cucumber felt rough.

The mint leaves smelt refreshing.

The lavender plant smells like perfume.

The Basil leaf smells nice but it has a bitter taste.

We learnt about how plant nutrients are made. Like us, plants need air, water and food to grow too!

We went shopping for plants after that and got to bring free vegetables home. We were tired but we really enjoyed the tour!
