Appendix

Average of Average ICSU Load BH 6PM – RN291, RN292• On the last Friday 30-Dec-2011, the average ICSU load are as follows:

– RN291 – 61.67%

– RN292 – 40.38%

HSDPA Performance – RN232

• Number of HSDPA attempts reduced on 2-Jan, compared to previous Monday (26-Dec)

Average of Average ICSU loading

• There are 2 counters available to monitor ICSU loading –

– M592C0 AVERAGE_LOAD

– M592C1 PEAK_LOAD

• If daily average of AVERAGE_LOAD:

– This is averaging ALL  the ICSU units (38 units) over all the hours of the day (24 hours). This means, this is giving the AVG of AVERAGE_LOAD over the whole day (i.e. 1 value per day per RNC)

• If daily average of PEAK_LOAD:

– This is averaging ALL  the ICSU units (38 units) over all the hours of the day (24 hours). This means, this is giving is the AVG of PEAK_LOAD over the whole day (i.e. 1 value per day per RNC)

• If daily max of AVERAGE_LOAD:

– This is giving the ICSU unit having the HIGHEST AVERAGE_LOAD during the whole day

• If daily max of PEAK_LOAD:

– This is giving the ICSU unit having the HIGHEST PEAK_LOAD during the whole day

• Therefore, to have a more meaningful and accurate evaluation of the actual ICSU loading, it is recommended to use:

– BH AVG AVERAGE_LOAD - This is averaging ALL the ICSU units (38 units) over all the BH of the day (6PM)
