• Represented by more than 800 Independent Insurance Agencies in CO, ID, KS, MT, NE, ND, OK and SD.

• Farmers Alliance writes more than $159 million of premium.

• The home office is located in McPherson, Kansas.

• Of the nearly 250 employees that work at FAMI, 220 are at the McPherson office.

MY ROLE

• Observed various departments including marketing, bonds, claims, accounting, customer service, and underwriting.

• Worked primarily as an intern in the underwriting department.

• The three regional managers of underwriting served as my supervisors.

• Participated in meetings with various departments.

• Spent two days in WaKeeney, KS doing farm inspections with an underwriter and a consultant.
