CONTENT DELIVERY
Term Description
Over The Top (OTT)OTT refers to the delivery of content over the internet. Consumers can access OTT content through internet-connected devices such as a computer, phone, gaming system, or tablet.
Just in Time (JITP) JITP is where the packaging of video assets for the particular screen type is managed just-in-time, rather than being previously stored. JITP packages content in real-time into appropriate protocols requested by the viewer.
IPTVIPTV uses the internet protocol suite but only in a closed, dedicated and managed network controlled by the local cable, satellite, telephone, or fiber company.
Catch-up TV Catch up TV, is a system for watching TV programs after they have been broadcast, using a mobile device connected to the internet.
