Create a Presentation

Once you open PowerPoint, you will see a blank slide.

To Add a New Slide:

To Add Text:

Format your texts the way you’ve learned from Word:

Insert Images from Clipart

Click on ClipArt symbol in the middle of the slide.

OR…

Click on Insert Tab then ClipArt.

Choose your image then double click.

Add a New Slide:

Insert Images from Files

Click on “Insert Picture from File”. OR… Insert Tab the Picture.

Select your file

Insert Auto Shape Click on Insert then Shapes. Choose a shape.

Right click inside the shape and choose Edit Text to add text inside the shape.

To Delete the Text Box:

Click on the Text Box when you see the box becomes solid line then hit Delete on the keyboard.

Add Animation

Click on Animation Tab then choose an animation.

Preview Slide Show

Choose different preview options under Slide Show Tab

Save

Click on the Office Button then Save AS

To save as PowerPoint version 1997 to 2003, choose “PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation” from drop

down menu.

To save as PowerPoint Show (ALWAYS open as a presentation), choose “PowerPoint Show”.

Print

Click on File Button then click on Print.
