Trenton Isles was involved in the renovation of several houses on this block of Academy Street. Over the course of the year, the PUMC team

helped with different projects within all the houses.

members on site to work with us, so they can provide instruction and guidance on whatever projects are ongoing.

The mill will ultimately comprise Isles’ headquarters, YouthBuild Institute, art studios, housing, offices and other uses, while demonstrating the feasibility of converting historic factories to high-performing, sustainable places to live, work and play.

The Academy Place houses are adjacent to a city park, which needed a lot of sprucing up so Lori and her team of volunteer gardeners came to the rescue.

The gazebo in the city park on Academy street was sanded and stained so it would hold up to the weather and could be a nice, shady place to relax overlooking the garden.
