Rural Godowns and AMIGS -Time limit for

conduction joint inspection of projects

sanctioned subsidy Prior to 2014-15

Please refer to our Circular No.113/DOR-

28/2015, dated 12 June 2015 advising

therein to complete JMl of the projects

under the captioned two schemes by 30

June 2015 for which advance subsidy was

sanctioned by NABARD during 2012-13 and

2013.14.

2. In this regard we have been advised by

DMl, Gol, vide their letter dated 11 th March

2016 that the,time limit for conducting the

pending JMls of Rural Godowns and AMIGS

projects sanctioned subsidy prior to 2014-

15 is now extended upto 30th June 2016.

3. It may also be noted that Mnistry of

Agriculture, Gol has also indicated that no

time limit has been stipulated for

conducting JMl for projects for which

subsidy has been sanctioned after 1 April

2014. However we observe that it would be

prudent to conduct JMl visits promptly for

early compliance to the provisions of the

scheme guidelines. Please advise your

branches on the above and treat this as

important and urgent.

Sub: Extension of time limit for conducting Joint inspection of projects sanctioned-regarding.

Sir,

Please refer to your letter No.NB.DOR.GSS/3438/AMl-1/2-15-16 dt, 04.03.2016

on the above subject. In this connection, it is informed that there is no time limit for

conducting JMls enforced for the cases sanctioned subsidy after 01.04.2014.

However, the projects sanctioned prior to 2014-15 had time limit for conducting

pending JMls up to 30.06.2015. Therefore, the competent authority has now approved

to extend the time limit up to 30.06.2016. It is therefore requested to complete the

pending JMls accordingly.
