Japan!!!

WHY!!!!!!???

Negative Impact• Health Issue• Environment• Business

Impact On Health Issue• 4% solid cancers in females • 6% breast cancer in females• 7% leukemia for males • 0.75% to 1.25% thyroid cancer in females

300 TONS

Impact On Environment

OF CONTAMINATED WATERPER DAY

Can filled up an olympic swimming pool over 8 days time!!

300tons = 272,152 liters

Water leaked to pacific ocean everyday= 272,152 litersEstimated water contained at Taylor’s lake= 4,000 liters

272,152 ÷ 4,000 = ??

68!!

REASON???

They needed spaces for their storage to store water that’s

even more contaminated

In total, 11 of Japan's 50 nuclear reactors were closed immediately following the earthquake.

Impact On Business

The capacity to produce electricity was reduced by as much as 40%, and has remained at less than 80% of pre-quake levels.

SOLUTION

U.S. AssistanceDaily needs, evacuation support, medical support decontamination and radiation monitoring equipment
