Conjecture

an opinion or theory so formed or expressed; guess; speculation

Dejection

depression or lowness of spirits

Injection

a liquid injected into the body, esp. for medicinal purposes, as a hypodermic or an enema

Interjection

the act of uttering exclamations; something that interrupts

Jet

spout or nozzle for emitting liquid or gas

Jetsam

the part of a ship, its equipment, or its cargo that is cast overboard to lighten the load in time of distress and that sinks or is washed ashore

Jettison

a voluntary sacrifice of cargo to lighten a ship's load in time of distress

Jetty

a pier or structure of stones, piles, or the like, projecting into the sea or other body of water to protect a harbor, deflect the current, etc.

Object

anything that is visible or tangible and is relatively stable in form

Projectile

an object fired from a gun with an explosive propelling charge, such as a bullet, shell, rocket, or grenade

Rejection

refusal, spurning, dismissal, elimination

Subject

a person who owes allegiance to a government and lives under its protection

Trajectory

the curve described by a projectile, rocket, or the like in its flight
