The project’s vision

The “Jewish-Arab Community leadership” is a unique

program in its third year of operation at the University

of Haifa.

The main objective of the program is to facilitate

dialogue and multi-cultural social interaction between

40 Jewish and Arab students. Students active in the

program come from poor socio-economic

backgrounds and have experience working in

social programs and a strong awareness of social

issues.

The program is made up of two parts:

The project’s vision

Educational – Social Activities sites:

1. Ein HaYam neighborhood: “Leo Beck Community

Center – Ein HaYam branch.

2. Halisa Neighborhood in Haifa – The Department for

Social and Community. Services.

3.Projects in Co-operation with ELEM in the cities of Acre

and Haifa.

4. Project in Co-operation with the Yedid Society in Haifa

Spring carnival – Ein Hayam

Purim party– Ein Hayam

Elderly activity– Ein Hayam

Community activity – Halisa neighborhood

Co-operation with Yedid Society in Haifa
