PSHEand citizenship becoming
statutory for primary Following reports around SRE and drug education PSHE
will become statutory in 2011.
Government response quality PSHE required currently
planning best methods of delivery. New primary curriculum PSHE will sit with physical health
and well-being. Citizenship with geography and history.
Citizenship will also be statutory.
Topics covered will be much the same as current National
Curriculum. New guidance around drug education in Autumn Term.
New guidance around sex education in Spring Term 2010.
