Volunteer of the Month – John Rush IV John Rush currently works for Brackett Flagship Properties
which is a commercial real estate development, acquisition, and property management company focused in the healthcare sector. He oversees the daily operations of 1.5 million square feet and handles many tenant requests and upfit related projects.
To further his knowledge, he has decided to take the PMI-PBA certification in August.
Outside of his career, John coaches soccer at WCWAA in Weddington. He coaches U12 and U13 boys teams and trains the club's goalkeepers.
John has been a member of the chapter for just over a year. He is a Chair in the Programs area working with Satellite Administration.
Volunteer Opportunities Role: Assistant to the Chairperson of Prep Classes Area: Professional Development VRMS Opportunity Details: 3216 Type of interaction: In-Person Estimated time commitment: 10 hours per month, more
during class sessions Description or summary: The Chairperson of Prep Classes is
responsible for all activities related to identifying, planning, and executing prep courses (PMP®, etc.) for the PMI-Metrolina Chapter. The individual for this position must assist the Chairperson with a variety of internal and externals stakeholders to effectively execute these events. Saturday attendance is required during the classes along with knowledge of computer systems and how to set up for projection.
Volunteer Opportunities Role: Web Development Area: Communications Type of interaction: Virtual Estimated time commitment: 5-10 hours per
month Description or summary: Assist with website
updates and development. Duties include but is not limited to refining and updating existing content and suggesting improvements of current design.
