Kabaddi is a wrestling sport played in South Asia. Two teams occupy opposite halves of a small swimming pool or field and take turns sending a "raider" into the other half, to win points by tackling members of the opposing team; then the raider tries to return to his own half, holding his breath and chanting the word "Kabaddi" during the whole raid. The raider must not cross the lobby unless he touches any of his opponents. If he does so then he will be declared as "out". There is also a bonus line which ensure extra points for the raider if he manages to touch it and return to his side of the field successfully.

The game was included for the first time in Asian Games held in Beijing in 1990. Eight countries took part including India, China, Japan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka.

Kabaddi-like games are common in certain rural regions of Iran and in these areas it is a popular game for children and adults.

In these games, players shoot their marbles—small, colored glass balls—at their opponents' marbles. It they hit the other marbles, they win them. Traditionally, games of marbles have been played in countries all over the world, including Turkey, Cyprus, and Indonesia.

Game of Marbles

Before beginning the game, we should draw a triangle. The size depends on the number of marbles we have.

After putting all the marbles into the triangle, we should shoot our favorite marble at the others so that we can win some marbles by throwing the others out of the triangle.

The game continues until all the marbles are gone.
