Keman is in the business since 1989 and in the business of Core Drilling, Anchor Installation, Rebar Grouting, etc. since 1997 though its sister concerns.

Keman is in heavy Diamond cutting i.e. demolition since 2001. Carried out various critical projects, all over India

Keman is leader and pioneer in Indian market in RCC crushing and Robotic Demolition

Having India’s first Demolition Robot

We at Keman believe in offering appropriate technology for different applications.

Hence we are always trying to explore new technologies and its applications, at the same time considering economy as main criteria.

Keman activities are mainly focused in the field of partial demolition where noise and vibrations are main concerns

Keman is in possession of Robot since 2007. Our first Robot was Brokk 90 of 1 M ton capacity . Another Robot is Brokk 260 of 3 M Ton capacity

Brokk Robot has got certain advantages while working in tunneling

1.Size 2.Electric motor – allows the equipmet

work without any exhaust fumes 3.Maneuverability and access

Generally, contractors have two alternatives when partial concrete removal is specified: hydrodemolition and traditional impact methods using breakers.

While breakers have incredible destructive power, that power is difficult to control; so, mistakes happen that can damage both the reinforcing steel and adjacent–and otherwise structurally-sound–concrete. In addition, the vibrations from the equipment can weaken surrounding concrete.

Removing concrete beneath the reinforcing steel can be tricky with impact methods, which do not differentiate between concrete and steel or between sound concrete that should not be removed and deteriorated concrete

Waterjet Demolition is Concrete Demolition with High Pressure Water Blasting

Hydrojet Systems use high pressure water jets to demolish and remove concrete while not damaging the rebar. This method is mainly used to remove concrete from structures, such as dams, tunnels, turbine linings, bridges, parking decks, harbours and docks for repairs.

The effectiveness of this method is due to two main reasons:1. The direct impact of the water jet on the surface and2. the porous nature of concrete - the high pressure water is

forced into the tiny cavities and cracks within the concrete mass, causing it to fracture and split

The variable parameters of the technique, water pressure, jet size and speed of application, make it possible to remove concrete in a very precise and controlled way
