Kerala is called God’s own country

 According to Hindu mythology, Kerala was created by Lord Parasurama, an

incarnation of Lord Vishnu by throwing his axe across the sea to create new

land for his devotees to live peacefully. So, Kerala is God's own creation,

hence it is called God's own country!

THE DAMAGES TO THE ROADS THIS MONSOON HAD BEEN ESTIMATED AT OVER RS 300 CRORE. THE PWD HAD ALSO DECIDED TO TAKE UP FULL-FLEDGED REPAIRS OF THE ROADS ACROSS THE STATE THAT HAD BECOME UN-MOTORABLE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE MONSOON.
