Over the past few years smart phones and tablets have flooded the market

As of now there are over 100 different variations of tablets on the market with countless amounts of new smart phones that hit the market every day.

Researchers believe over 50 million tablets will be sold to business this year

Over the past few years there has been a decline in PC sales while Tablet sales increased. Every website needs to be Tablet and mobile friendly.

Smart Phones are everywhere

The numbers from the bandwidth usage speak for themselves

Mobile data usage.

More and more people everyday use either tablets or mobile phones to access the internet. Not only are we looking up our favorite restaurants but we are also using our phones as a navigation device.

Not only does the usage matter but the Operating system makes a large difference as well.

CMS ( Content Management System) systems such as Drupal and Joomla have taken the progressive enhancement approach. With these CMS the integrate not only mobile but other designs of the website that automatically detect how the website is being viewed

Good, Bad, and Horrible

Some websites are amazing when viewed with a compatible browser but when viewed with a mobile device or tablet don’t come across as nice.

Dave Werner has one of the best Flash websites published on the web. This site is really great and extremely visually appealing however it can not be viewed via mobile or Ipad. Therefor it might not get the amount of hits it deserves.

FACEBOOK Reaches Everyone

Facebook not only has a great website but they also have mobile apps for almost every platform. They have apps and they also have a mobile browser friendly version

Banks have it going on

Many banks have mobile sites that are extremely user friendly here are a few examples and allow users to do countless amount of things without having to go to the bank or be on a computer!

Gone Riding

With a mobile friendly site riders will be able to look at upcoming events and check out race results from just about anywhere. Your website hits will go up and attendance should increase as well.
