What We Have Learned about Trees•All trees have leaves•Leaves make food for the tree•Some trees loose their leaves in the winter and are called DECIDUOUS TREES•Some trees keep their leaves all winter and are called EVERGREENS•The leaves of Evergreens are like needles
What We Have Learned about Seeds•All trees grow from seeds•We eat some kinds of tree seeds – walnuts, almond, cashews•Squirrels eat many tree seeds•All other plants also grow from seeds•Many seeds are very small•Some seeds have puffy white parts that carry them on the wind – a dandelion is this kind of seed
