UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA SCHOOL OF INFORMATION RESOURCES AND LIBRARY SCIENCE

KNOWLEDGE RIVER

“MY COHORT BECAME LIKE

FAMILY TO ME. THAT’S WHY I STAYED IN THE PROGRAM.”

“THIS PROGRAM HAS BONDED ME TO OTHERS WHO HAVE THE SAME GOALS AND DESIRES THAT I HAVE: TO BE OF SERVICE TO THE UNDERSERVED.”

“A GREAT OUTREACH PRESENTATION BY A KR ALUMNI MADE ME WANT TO

LEARN TO DO SIMILAR THINGS.”

I remember my brother would share wonderful stories of being in the Knowledge River program such as attending conferences, being part of a cohort, having the opportunity in working at the Arizona Health Sciences Library and more. To be honest, he must have tried to recruit me a couple times before I was convinced.
