DISASTER MANAGEMENT
Jojobera cement plant works on 5 pillar methodology of disaster/emergency management.Prevention : Action taken to prevent an emergency or disasterMitigation : Action taken to reduce the effect of an emergency or disaster.Preparedness : Action taken prior to an emergency or disaster to ensure an effective response.Response : Action taken to respond to an emergency or disaster.Recovery : Action taken to recover from an emergency or disaster.

EMISSION CONTROL
Major source of emission in cement industries are stacks & raw material transport transfer towers.Jojobera cement plant focuses on effective preventive maintenance & time bound rectification.Emission control is achieved by –1) Total of 111 numbers of bag filters have been installed in all process circuits and transfer
points. They are being regularly maintained.2) Fixed type Water sprinklers have been installed in coal yard3) Online Ambient Air Quality Monitoring instrument have been installed, data of same is being
continuously transferred to CPCB and JSPCB, Ranchi servers.4) Highly powerful Vacuum Cleaning Machine is used to collect spilled dust, if any and is
recycled back to the system ….

SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
No in-process solid waste is generated by the plant. However, for day to day wasteproduct management, we have colour coded waste bin system.Red – Plastic wastesGreen – Bio-degradable wastesBlue - Electrical filingsYellow - Iron piecesLight blue – Oil soaked jute / rag
Wastes are collected by specific vehicle and stored in scrap yard in segregated mannerand are disposed as per guidelines
