“5 First Steps”

• Mow less grass! Add layers, create hedges, “connect corners”

• Control exotic invasives.

• Avoid using insecticides.

• Practice benign neglect...leave the leaves, save the snags, pile the brush

• Plant a “Powerhouse”!
