Objective is to foster leadership and good citizenship in America’s youth, using aerospace education, and emphasis on public service.
Cadets may participate in a variety of activities, gain rank and increased recognition in the program and receive benefits for participation in the program.
It challenges them to learn and grow in ways they may not have had the opportunity to were it not for the program.

Membership & Financial Requirements
Cadets must be in 6th gradeCompletion of applicationBlue uniform basic parts provided by Air Force.
$45.00 per cadet – Checks made payable to National Headquarters, Civil Air Patrol
$18.00 Per cadet – Squadron fee for t-shirt & baseball cap.
Cost for food and supplies to attend certain activates.
Accessories - uniforms to include shoes, patches, ribbons and etc. (estimated cost $110.00)
CAP related expenses may be tax deductible.
