Lesson Study Teams must have a professional learning goal which is linked to school’s professional learning goal. This is also called the research theme.

One way to deepen our practice is to learn to synthesize discussions into form of useable knowledge.

After lesson study

1. Professional learning continues at the personal level which results in accepting or rejecting tentative knowledge that emerged from lesson study.

2. At the school levela. relevant data is used for efficacy studyb. long-term perspective in data collectionc. use categories rather than taking averages

One way to deepen our practice is to be precise in measuring student outcomes.
