local food and local spirits cocktail party in support of the cooperstown farmers' market

150 attendees enjoyed a lovely summer evening of tastings and pairings.

Mohican Flowers created beautiful sign posts that guided guests through the tasting stations. There was charcuterie, vegetables dishes, a selection of meat-poultry-fish and finally a sweet finish

Summer squash shooters, mini zucchini quiches, baby greens with goats milk ranch dressing, mint pea dip, curried carrot spread, baby beet salad, heirloom tomato tasters and dragon beans – everyone ate their vegetables that night!

…and pickles, mustards, smoked sausages, dry cured sausages, pate, and leek-potato goat cheese tarts! A wonderful variety of cheeses! All local.

Guests shared their favorites with their friends.

And the first ever silent auction was a wonderful success! Gift baskets items were generously donated by the areas merchants, market vendors, as well as local musicians, and artists!

and talked, and laughed, and tasted… and sipped

A good time was had by all!

…when it was done the volunteers tallied the fundraising effort… it was a great success

All that was left was to drive the welcoming committee home… See you next year!
