• Job opportunities, relationship possibilities and invitations to parties and other social events are all linked to how you present yourself to the world.

• Grooming is simply one of those things that there is no excuse not to take time and effort with

That was so much better! You just saw what a big difference being well groomed and politeness made ! Now let’s have some fun.� ACTIVITY TIME (suggested): 30 MINUTES � Items Needed: Nil� Divide yourselves into groups consisting of around 4-5 people each. One

person will be the customer service representative {CSR} , two or three people will be the customers and one person should be the director.

� Discuss and detail out a brief interaction which shows how grooming and dress can impact customer experience and interaction in these situations where the customer representative is :-� A cashier in a bank� A beautician in a parlour� A retail sales person in a branded clothing store

� Practice acting it out within your group. � After 10 minutes, each group will act out their small skits (each of about 3

minutes) in front of the whole class, followed by discussion.

What is Personal Grooming?

By dressing appropriately and taking care of basic grooming aspects like hair and make-up you can be transformed and will project an image of someone who is well groomed and acceptable by all at all times
