Featuring work from staff and students from the Cultural and Creative Industries at the University of Portsmouth, UK.

This catalogue marks the first Mail Art project conducted as part of the ‘Mail Art Collection’ at the University of Portsmouth, UK.

The ‘Mail Art Collection’, is a project launched by MA(Res) Creative Industries student Oliver Tubb. The project aims to archive and promote an extensive collection of Mail Art donated to the University by noted artist Patricia Collins .

The brief was to submit a piece of artwork responding to the theme of ‘EXCHANGE’, to be contained within an A5 envelope and posted to the University. The works formed part of a touring exhibition, starting at the University Library, prior to moving to the Dental Academy, and Eldon Building, coinciding with the Graduate Show 2016. This activity will hopefully be the first of many within the University.

The following catalogue has no precise order.

If you are interested in the project, please feel free to contact: mailartcollection@gmail.com.
