Past Projects

My concept for our contribution of the sleep hotel is to combine fine traditional materials with innovative ecological ones. For a rather small room I wanted to still experience space and therefore I decided on curvilinear walls that almost overlap and guide one into the space.

The bathroom is divided by a unique translucent glass wall, using TEX GLASS which has beautiful fabric by Nya Nordiska encapsulated inside. The dividing screens within the bathroom are STADIP COLOR, in an orange sunset hue, which creates a beautiful warmth to the look of the glass and sepa-rates a unique shower area by Dornbracht.

The flow of space is the main design element in order to break up the common rigid division between bedroom and bathroom. I envision the dividing materials to be very light and partly translucent in order to give this room a bigger appearance than it has.

Fine woods for the bedroom floor and beautiful circular tile floor tiles from Porcelanosa add to a very luxurious yet naturally feeling space and enhance the organic concept of the room.

I have chosen partially the beautiful Dornbracht black series of Tara for faucets to blend in with the grey stone on the floor and orange colored division glass between toilet and shower

The furniture is carefully designed or selected in order to create a contemporary yet very cozy feeling.Another example of my work how one can innovate yet integrate human needs of comfort and well being!
