The Namibian Standards Institution (NSI) was established in terms of the Standards Act, 2005 (Act No. 18 of 2005). The primary role of the NSI is to promote Standardisation and Quality Assurance in industry, commerce and the public sector in Namibia, with the aim of improving product quality, industrial efficiency and productivity, and to promote trade, so as to achieve optimum benefits for Namibia.

Job Grading: Paterson C4

Primary purpose of position:To contribute to the coordination of all marketing and networking activities of the NSI. Responsible for conducting market research, gathering relevant information and identifying promotional opportunities that can be used to increase NSI brand awareness as well as strengthen relationships with customers. Serves as the focal point between NSI and its clients; promote the NSI brand through relevant advertising and promotional tools.

Educational requirement:Bachelor. Degree in Marketing/Advertising/ Communication. (NQF level 7).Post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience requirement: 3 - 5 years’ work experience in Marketing, Advertising or CommunicationsDriver’s License Code B, minimum two (2) years driving experience
